Amd 7750 Driver Windows 10
System (HP Compaq Elite 8300 SFF) was working fine on original Windows 10 install until the latest Windows 10 “Crater” update. At first I thought it was due to a corrupted OS, so booted into safe mode and removed AMD drivers using DDU. Systems seem fine using plain Microsoft driver, can update resolution etc. Try to update driver, either using Windows Update or AMD Catalyst (old and new versions 17x and 16x), all ends with hanging the machine (after installing HDMI Drivers, makes sound then black screen.)
To troubleshoot, clean install of Windows 10 – running update to latest Windows 10 Creators Update…. (I even updated the System Bios, turned off on-board video etc..)
When it gets to the point where AMD driver is installing, the system makes a “I have found new hardware” sound… then screen goes black and it doesn’t come back (Same behaviour as the original Windows 10 install above.)

I reboot, to safe mode, nuke the drivers, reboots fine, can change to higher resolution, but as soon as I install whatever version of AMD drivers, screen goes black again after new hardware found sound.

So is it just a coincidence my card died during the upgrade? Or the drivers are not setting up properly. I tried older drivers and same behaviour… could it be a Windows 10 issue?
